Saints Row 4 offers an exhilarating open-world experience filled with alien invasions, superpowers, and over-the-top combat. For players exploring the game on Xbox One through the Re-Elected edition, built-in cheat codes provide an easy way to expand the chaos. Entering these codes unlocks instant rewards, powerful abilities, and unique gameplay modifiers to alter your simulation experience.
How to Access the Cheat Menu on Xbox One
Activating cheats on Xbox One is a straightforward process completed directly through the in-game menu. First, pause your game and navigate to the Extras section, then select the Cheats option. From there, choose Add Cheat and type in your desired code to unlock its effects immediately.
Keep in mind that enabling any cheat will automatically disable achievements and autosave functionality for that session. Players should always create a clean manual save before activating codes to protect their campaign progress. This precaution ensures you can enjoy unlimited mayhem without losing your main storyline achievements.
Popular Financial and Weapon Cheats
One of the most useful codes in Saints Row 4 is "cheese," which immediately grants $100,000 to your character's bank account. This financial boost allows players to purchase store upgrades and weapon customizations early in the game. Having unlimited funds makes surviving high-level alien encounters much more manageable.
For combat enthusiasts, entering "letsrock" equips your character with a full loadout of randomized weapons. This code lets you bypass standard progression gates and experiment with destructive firearms. Combined with the "goodygoody" code to clear alien notoriety, you can regain control whenever fights become overwhelming.
Unlocking Superpowers and World Modifiers
Superpowers form the backbone of movement and combat throughout virtual Steelport. Using codes like "runfast" gives you infinite sprint capability without depleting your stamina meter. Other specific superpower codes such as "superblast", "superbuff", and "superstomp" unlock powerful combat skills instantly.
If you prefer environmental chaos, world-altering cheats offer hilarious visual twists. Entering "fryhole" causes defeated enemies to float endlessly into the sky, while "mascot" turns all city pedestrians into energetic mascots. You can also try "vroom" to make your vehicle completely indestructible while cruising around.
Maximizing Your Saints Row 4 Gameplay
Using cheat codes changes the fundamental pace of gameplay, giving you total freedom over the sandbox world. Whether you want to test endgame powers early or simply cause unrestrained destruction, these codes remain a core part of the franchise's identity.
Always remember to balance cheat usage with organic progression to get the most out of your campaign experience. Exploring hidden audio logs and cluster collectibles adds long-term value alongside instant cheat activations. Experimenting with different combinations allows you to customize the game to match your personal playstyle.
